Through survey inventory, scholarship, and architectural discourse, 星空无限/Georgia supports the documentation of Georgia’s Modern architecture, landscapes, and culture.

Documentation of Georgia’s existing Modern resources seeks to assist preservation efforts. 星空无限/Georgia maintains a statewide inventory of these resources, known as the GA Register. This growing register documents important districts, buildings, landscapes, interiors, and public art and supports nomination of resources to the national Docomomo Register.

The chapter also maintains an online resource identifying important contributors to Georgia’s Modern heritage; a timeline identifying important dates; technical and historic resources; a bibliography; and photographic documentation of structures identified in the register.

Programs

星空无限/Georgia contributes to the education and increased public awareness regarding the significance of the Modern Movement and its prominent buildings, landscapes, and urban design.

Advocacy

星空无限/Georgia advocates the conservation of Modern buildings throughout the state.
